From Two Cylinder Club 2009, TCC'19
During the summer of 1958, the brand new
30 series tractors were introduced. They
would be the last of the Two-Cylinder models,
and would later prove to be the most collectible
are the standard-tread models, and the ´´630´´
is no exeption.
Three versons of the ´´630´´ standard were built;
gasoline (705 produced), LP-Gas (16) ,and all-fuel
(14). Amazingly, all 16 of the LP-Gas tractors have
been accounted for in recent years, while a quest
for the gasoline tractor can be quite difficult.
The gasoline-engined ´´630´´ standards tended to be
shipped to northern regions of the US and to Canada,
while the LP-Gas models were shipped to the southern
states. All ´´630´´ standards are highly collectible, but the
most elusive is the all-fuel version. That´s because only
four were shipped to locations in the United States, and
the other ten were exported. Deveral of the exported tractors
have made their way back from South Africa, and are faithfully
represented by the enclosed model--- right down to the stencils.
